Hey, internet! After 10 years of working shitty, low-paying jobs, (waiting tables, babysitting, selling skateboards…) Sue Smith got so angry that she wrote her new solo show, Minimum Rage, which was featured in the Daily News. Yes, the NEW YORK Daily News.
One job was a small role on the short-lived CW TV show, “The Beautiful Life.” She did a scene with Mischa Barton, who told the director she was horrible. Whatever, though. No hard feelings! She’s starred in several internet videos and TV projects. You usually have to rewind the DVR to catch her on TV because the roles are just so major that if there was too much footage your eyes would burn out.
Sue attended Pace University, where she studied writing, which is why she’s never had a job with vacation pay. She’s been a part of the UCB since 2007 and taken classes with all the greats, including Bobby Moynihan, Lennon Parham, Charlie Sanders, Shannon O’Neill, Neil Casey, Joe Wengert, Porter Mason, Dyna Moe, Delaney and Jordan Klepper. She’s a member of the indie improv teams Squirt!, Donuts, The Noodles and You’re Charlotte. Sue is also a senior contributor for Brokelyn.com. More info is available at about.me/suesmith
She wrote this bio while watching Michael Jackson’s “This is It.” It’s just nice to see his creative process, ya know?
She lives in Brooklyn with her boyfriend and their two cat children, Brindle and Noodle.
Her videos are underneath the link that says “my videos.”
Here is her Headshot Hall of Fame. She went through, like, awkward hair phases. Especially in her early 20s.
